Enuresis Alarm for Girls: The Best Solution Against Bedwetting

An enuresis alarm is an effective aid for children struggling with bedwetting. It offers a safe, non-invasive way to support the learning process and build confidence. At Dryly, we offer enuresis alarms designed for comfort and everyday practicality, tailored specifically to children's needs.

Bedwetting is a common issue in children, both boys and girls. Although it often resolves on its own, it can be distressing for children and parents. An enuresis alarm can provide effective support here. Dryly offers a child-friendly solution that can be used individually and supports the training process.

On this page, you will learn what an enuresis alarm is, how it works, and how it can support the learning process.

What is an Enuresis Alarm?

An enuresis alarm helps children stay dry at night. A sensor detects moisture and triggers an alarm at the first drops, waking the child. This teaches the body to better perceive bladder signals even during sleep.

How Does It Work?

The alarm consists of a sensor and a receiver. The sensor is attached to special underwear and reacts to moisture. When detected, a signal is triggered that wakes the child and allows them to go to the toilet. The goal is gradual bladder control training.

The Benefits of an Enuresis Alarm for Girls

Using an enuresis alarm for girls offers several benefits. It can help boost self-confidence, as bedwetting is often associated with shame and frustration. At the same time, it is a safe, non-invasive method to support the learning process. Unlike medication, an enuresis alarm has no known side effects and is also suitable for long-term use.

At the beginning of training, it is important to have realistic expectations. Initial progress can take several weeks to months, and the process requires patience and consistency. Initially, wet nights may still occur, but over time, dry nights will become more frequent. A consistent routine and positive reinforcement can further support the training process.

At Dryly, we take into account that girls may have different needs than boys. That's why we offer underwear with an adjusted fit and design, so that children feel comfortable during use and the learning process is optimally supported.

It is important to use the enuresis alarm regularly and consistently and to actively accompany the entire process. The Dryly app also helps to establish routines and clearly track progress.

At what age can treatment begin?

The enuresis alarm can generally be used from about 4 years of age, but in practice it is often only used from around 6 years of age. Although many children are already dry during the day, some still need support at night. So far, Dryly has helped 93% of children improve bedwetting within 6-8 weeks.

At Dryly, our goal is to offer an effective and comfortable solution for bedwetting. Our alarms are designed for user-friendliness and everyday practicality. The intuitive system, playful elements in the app, and comfortable underwear help children feel at ease during use.

Underwear washing instructions

Washing instructions

The briefs can be washed at 30 to 60 °C. They contain sensor wires and snap fasteners for clicking in the Dryly® transmitter. Therefore, careful handling is important to ensure long-term use.

We recommend avoiding the tumble dryer whenever possible. If this is not possible, a low temperature setting should be chosen.

How to choose the right underwear size

The Dryly bedwetting alarm pants are based on European sizes and have a regular fit. Therefore, choose the same size your child normally wears for regular underwear.

Is your child between two sizes? Then choose the larger size. We notice that parents sometimes choose the smaller size and it ends up being a bit too tight for the child.

How do the Dryly® underpants work?

Fine sensor threads are sewn into the underwear. When the transmitter is attached to the snaps and moisture is detected, the signal is forwarded to the transmitter. This communicates with the receiver and triggers the alarm. In this way, your child is reliably awakened at the very first drops of urine.
