Bedwetting affects approximately 10–15% of 7-year-old children. This situation can be very stressful for both parents and children. Dryly® helps children develop nighttime bladder control and become dry step by step. In many cases, a bedwetting alarm offers an effective treatment option.

Karl Bachmann AG, a family business in the canton of Schwyz, is the official partner of Dryly® in Switzerland and is available to assist you with any questions regarding bedwetting therapy and the bedwetting alarm.

Dryly® Weckapparat mieten – Konditionen & Preise

Im Set enthalten

Mietbedingungen

Das Mietverhältnis beginnt mit dem Versand des Geräts und endet mit dem Eingang der Rücksendung (Dryly® Sender und Empfänger) bei der Karl Bachmann AG, Zürcherstrasse 114, 8855 Wangen.

Die Mindestmiete beträgt CHF 132.– und entspricht 40 Miettagen. Im Anschluss erfolgt die Verrechnung der Miete tagesgenau bis zum Eingang der Rückgabe.

Die Mietkosten betragen CHF 3.30 pro Tag ohne Vibration und CHF 3.80 pro Tag mit Vibration. Alle Preise verstehen sich inkl. Mehrwertsteuer (MWST-Nr. CHE-107.916.774).

Zusätzlich fallen Versand- und Verpackungskosten in Höhe von CHF 10.50 an. Die Rücksendung erfolgt auf Kosten des Mieters.

Der Weckapparat bleibt jederzeit Eigentum der Karl Bachmann AG. Der Mieter ist verpflichtet, das Gerät sowie sämtliches Zubehör sorgfältig zu behandeln. Bei Verlust, Beschädigung oder nicht vollständiger Rückgabe werden die entsprechenden Ersatz- bzw. Reparaturkosten in Rechnung gestellt.

Die Anwendung des Geräts hat gemäss den mitgelieferten bzw. bereitgestellten Anwendungsempfehlungen zu erfolgen. Eine Haftung für Schäden, die aus unsachgemässer Anwendung resultieren, wird ausgeschlossen.

Nach Versand des Geräts wird die Mindestmiete bzw. Anzahlung von CHF 132.– in Rechnung gestellt. Nach Rückerhalt und Prüfung des Geräts erfolgt die Schlussabrechnung über allfällige Restkosten.

Die Rechnungsstellung erfolgt ausschliesslich per E-Mail. Zahlungsfrist: 20 Tage netto. Bei Zahlungsverzug können Mahngebühren erhoben werden.

Miet-Kaufmodell

Nach einer ununterbrochenen Mietdauer von 120 Tagen geht der Weckapparat automatisch in das Eigentum des Mieters über, sofern keine anderslautende Vereinbarung getroffen wurde.

Kostenbeteiligung der Krankenkasse

Eine Kostenbeteiligung durch die obligatorische Krankenpflegeversicherung (OKP) ist möglich, sofern folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind:

  • Rückerstattung gemäss MiGeL-Position 15.20.01.01.2 (CHF 0.94 pro Tag, Stand 01/2026)
  • Vorliegen einer ärztlichen Verordnung über die Miete eines Wecklapparates zur Behandlung der Enuresis
  • Vollendetes 5. Lebensjahr des Kindes

Die Kostenbeteiligung erfolgt ausschliesslich im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen der jeweiligen Krankenkasse. Eine Gewähr für die Übernahme der Kosten kann nicht übernommen werden und ist durch den Mieter selbst mit der Krankenkasse abzuklären.

Rental process

Rental process

Once you have decided to rent and have completed the online form, we will send you the alarm device promptly. You will first receive an invoice for the minimum rental period of 40 days (CHF 132.–). After the minimum rental period has expired, additional rental days will be charged individually (CHF 3.30 per day or CHF 3.80 per day with vibration function). The rental period begins when the device is shipped and ends upon its return. The rental duration is calculated accordingly from the date of shipment to the date of return. Upon receipt of the returned device, we will prepare the final invoice and send it to you. This can be submitted to your health insurance provider together with the medical prescription for reimbursement.

The requirements for cost coverage by the basic insurance are that the child has reached the age of 5 and that there is a medical prescription for the rental of an enuresis alarm device. The contribution from the basic insurance is CHF 0.94/day in accordance with the list of aids and appliances (MiGeL) (position no. 15.20.01.01.2), status 01/2026. Cost coverage through supplementary insurance is individual and must be clarified directly by the family with their insurance provider. Please note that the health insurance fund only contributes to the cost of renting an alarm device and that there is no cost coverage for purchases.

Health insurance coverage for bed pads?

Bed pad/waterproof mattress protector: In accordance with MiGeL position number 15.01.04.00.1 (as of 01/2026), bed pads are covered by basic insurance up to an amount of CHF 105.39 per year.

Will my health insurance cover the Dryly® bedwetting alarm?

Prerequisites for cost coverage by basic insurance are that the child has reached the age of 5 and that there is a medical prescription for the rental of an enuresis alarm device.
The contribution from basic insurance is 0.94 CHF/day in accordance with the List of Medical Aids and Appliances (item no. 15.20.01.01.2) as of 01/2026.

Supplementary insurance coverage is highly individual, and we recommend clarifying this in advance.

Can the alarm device also be ordered without a doctor's prescription?

Yes, the bedwetting alarm can also be ordered and rented without a doctor's referral. However, a prescription is required for reimbursement by health insurance.

How do I get money back from my insurance?

Enuresis alarm: Please note that the health insurance fund only contributes to the cost of renting an enuresis alarm; there is no cost coverage for a purchase.

After completion of the therapy/rental period, submit the final invoice along with the medical prescription to your health insurance provider.

Waterproof bed pad/mattress protector: Submit the medical prescription for a bed pad for enuresis and the Drill® invoice to your health insurance provider's basic insurance plan.

My health insurance provider is rejecting my invoice; what now?

Reimbursement for bedwetting alarms in Switzerland

Something many parents are still not aware of: the use of a bedwetting alarm is partially reimbursed by health insurers in many cases.

A bedwetting alarm is a medical device for treating enuresis (bedwetting). Alarm therapy is an important and proven treatment method that is frequently recommended by doctors or specialists.

What do Swiss health insurance companies cover?

Bedwetting alarm: In Switzerland, the basic insurance contributes 0.94 CHF/day toward the rental of a bedwetting alarm in accordance with MiGeL position number 15.20.01.01.2 (as of 01/2026). A medical prescription is required for this. Coverage by supplementary insurance varies greatly on an individual basis.

Mattress protection: According to MiGeL position number 15.01.04.00.1 (as of 01/2026), bed pads are covered by the basic insurance up to an amount of CHF 105.39 per year.

Purchase or rental of the system

You can either rent the Dryly bedwetting alarm or purchase it directly. With a rental period of four months, the total price is approximately equal to the purchase price. There is no reimbursement from health insurance when purchasing a bedwetting alarm.

Scientifically well-supported

Numerous studies have focused on the treatment of bedwetting. A Dutch study conducted in collaboration with TNO shows that a significant proportion of children are affected by enuresis.

A study from 2005 (Glazener) shows that after two months, 66% of participants were dry for 14 consecutive nights. In the control group, the figure was only 4%.

Another study from 2005 (Leerdam) shows that within three months, 85.5% of the 241 participating children were dry for 28 consecutive nights.

Course of therapy
