Dryly® Bedwetting Alarm

The child-friendly solution for nighttime bedwetting!

Bedwetting therapy with the Dryly® bedwetting alarm is a scientifically proven method that helps children become dry at night, step by step. As soon as the first drops of urine are detected in the underwear, the alarm triggers a signal. This wakes your child up so they can go to the toilet. At the same time, you as parents receive a notification in the optional app, so you can support your child if needed.

Together with Wizzu the panda, your child will embark on an exciting adventure that is motivating and fun. This turns bedwetting training into a positive and child-friendly experience.

More than 60,000 children have already used Dryly. 93% of the children learned to wake up independently at night and go to the toilet in time within 6 to 8 weeks.

Does my health insurance cover the Dryly® bedwetting alarm?

The bedwetting alarm is reimbursed by many health insurance companies through supplementary insurance. The reimbursement can vary significantly depending on the health insurance provider. The average reimbursement is approximately €100, but often the full amount of the bedwetting alarm is covered! To see exactly what your insurer covers, take a look at our reimbursement checker. Health insurance providers often have a restriction that only one bedwetting alarm is reimbursed per policy. So be careful if you have multiple children!

The invoice may need to be sent to the health insurance company along with other documents so that they can process the reimbursement. Dryly plays no role in the reimbursement of the fee.

What are the benefits of training with the Dryly® bedwetting alarm for my child?

The bedwetting alarm is suitable for children aged 5 and over with enuresis. Its use is particularly successful when the child is motivated and other possible causes of bedwetting, such as underlying medical conditions, have been ruled out. Studies show that in around 98% of cases, bedwetting has no physical cause.

We often see that children who are very deep sleepers or are going through stressful phases also respond well to the bedwetting alarm. It sometimes takes a little more time and patience at the beginning, but with consistent use, the child learns to react to the alarm signal and increasingly wake up independently when their bladder is full.

Using the bedwetting alarm trains the perception between the brain and the bladder. This can reduce bedwetting and support the process of becoming dry at night.

At what age can treatment with the Dryly® bedwetting alarm begin?

From the age of about 5, the Dryly® bedwetting alarm is a suitable aid for bedwetting. At this age, children are generally old enough to better perceive and process the signals between the bladder and the brain as part of the training.

Earlier use is also possible in principle, but may be associated with a longer training period, as the maturation of the corresponding physical and sensory processes is not yet fully complete.

How does the Dryly® bedwetting alarm work?

A Dryly® bedwetting alarm system consists of a transmitter, a receiver, sensor underwear, Wizzu, the panda, and a mobile app. The superhero package additionally includes a 100% waterproof mattress protector.

When it is time for bed, your child puts on the Dryly® underwear, to which the transmitter is attached using press studs. The receiver is inserted via a zipper in Wizzu’s back, making it seem as if Panda is waking your child up.

As soon as moisture is detected, the transmitter in the underwear registers this and sends the signal to the receiver. The latter then triggers the alarm in Wizzu, which wakes your child up.

You can turn off the alarm by first removing the transmitter from the underwear so that no further signals are transmitted, and then shaking the receiver inside the panda 8–12 times. The alarm will then stop.

Since the alarm is triggered at the very first drop, your child learns (subconsciously) to recognize the signals of a full bladder. After waking up, your child goes directly to the toilet. Afterward, they put on fresh underwear with the transmitter, and the process begins again.

The receiver in Wizzu emits an acoustic signal and also sends a notification via Wi-Fi to the parent app, if used. This way, parents are informed immediately and can support their child and help with changing clothes if necessary. Parental support is an important part of the alarm therapy.

What makes Dryly® so special?

Positivity through a child-friendly, playful therapy approach

We know from our own experience how stressful the issue of bedwetting can be for both children and parents. For this reason, we have developed a method based on the scientifically proven bedwetting alarm system.

Wizzu, the panda bear, supports your child and helps to approach the topic in a playful and positive way. With little games, a friendly companion, and a high cuddle factor, Wizzu accompanies your child through the therapy.

The goal is to achieve dry nights step by step together with your child. Parental support is a crucial part of this.
